Justin Sun flew to space

On August 2, the creator of the Tron project, Justin Sun, completed a suborbital flight aboard the Blue Origin NS-34 mission. After the journey, the crypto entrepreneur reflected on how important it is to protect the planet.

The flight on the New Shepard rocket lasted 10 minutes. Sun, along with five other crew members, was able to experience weightlessness and saw the planet from a distance of 100 km.

"The Earth is so small, and this is our home. We definitely must do everything possible to protect it. I was very surprised by this," said the founder of Tron after landing.

Sun waited for the flight for four years — back in 2021 he won the auction, paying $28 million for the first crewed flight of New Shepard. However, in March 2023, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed a lawsuit against him, which forced the participation in the mission to be postponed.

Another member of the crypto community reacted to the words of the crypto entrepreneur about protecting the planet as follows:

"Maybe to save the Earth, as you say, we need to disconnect the useless Tron network"

Meanwhile, the price of the project's native token — TRX — has risen by almost 2% in the last 24 hours, according to CoinGecko. At the time of writing, the asset is trading at $0.32.
