Nibiru EVM breaks performance limits, achieving tens of thousands of TPS processing capacity.
Nibiru EVM: Breaking the Limitations of Ethereum to Achieve Efficient Parallel Transactions
Nibiru Chain, as an innovative smart contract ecosystem, recently launched its latest v2 version of Nibiru EVM, which is a high-performance Ethereum virtual machine execution environment.
The current processing capacity of Ethereum, which is about 20 transactions per second, leads to high fees during network congestion. This limitation hinders developers from building high-performance applications. Nibiru EVM aims to solve this problem by providing a throughput of over 10,000 TPS, even in single-thread execution.
The Nibiru project plans to upgrade the network by the end of this year, introducing parallel optimistic execution to handle transactions. This will enable nodes to fully utilize additional hardware resources, further enhancing the network's transaction processing capabilities.
Unique, the co-founder of Nibiru, stated: "Compatibility with Ethereum is key to attracting liquidity and promoting the growth of the Nibiru EVM ecosystem. Launching a blockchain protocol is a process of building trust and demonstrating real-world use cases, and innovating and improving the EVM is a core part of our strategy."
Given that Ethereum developers account for over 90% of the total locked value (TVL) in the smart contract ecosystem, the launch of Nibiru EVM has significantly lowered the entry barrier and accelerated the development process. It provides developers with a powerful and user-friendly environment, enabling seamless interoperability between Ethereum tokens and multi-virtual machine applications. This multi-virtual machine approach not only ensures fast transaction processing but also simplifies the user experience.
Since the mainnet launch in March 2024, Nibiru has supported Wasm (Web Assembly) smart contracts written in Rust. Nibiru EVM provides developers with a high-performance and scalable EVM-compatible execution environment, playing a key role in the future development of decentralized applications and driving innovation and mainstream adoption.
This technological breakthrough will undoubtedly bring new possibilities to the blockchain ecosystem, providing a more efficient and cost-effective trading experience for developers and users alike. As Nibiru continues to improve its technology and ecosystem, we can expect to see more innovative applications and use cases emerge.
