BTCT returns to the TSX Venture Exchange holding 292.80 Bitcoins
On June 27, according to reports, the Canadian listed company Bitcoin Treasury Corporation (BTCT) will officially resume trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange's Venture Exchange (TSX Venture Exchange). This exchange is the public venture capital market for emerging companies in the TSX.
The company announced on Thursday that its common stock will begin trading freely on the exchange starting June 30, with the stock code "BTCT", and more than 10 million shares have been issued and are in circulation. Previously, the company had sold over 10 million shares of BTCT stock. The resumption of trading follows a brokerage issuance that raised a total of 125 million CAD (approximately 92 million USD).
Part of the financing proceeds was also used to purchase Bitcoin. According to the company, it purchased 292.80 BTC at a total cost of approximately 31.5 million dollars.
